Our Story

Athena Contracting was established in 1988 by Loretta Mitsos-Panvini. Athena is a Certified “DBE/WBE” Woman Owned Business Enterprise located in Philadelphia, Pa with multiple North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes.

Since the company’s inception in 1988, our service offerings have grown to include various types of construction services- including water/sewer site preparation work, painting and wall covering, carpentry as well as Dumpster services.

We currently provide dumpster rental services, along with various types of construction services in the Philadelphia area.

Athena is certified through the Pennsylvania Unified Certification Program (PACUP), City of Philadelphia, SEPTA, Delaware River Port Authority, PENNDOT and NJDOT.
